Can stem-cell injections from umbilical cord blood help autistic children?

Sacramento’s Sutter Neuroscience Institute is launching recruiting for research today in order to to see whether the stem cells from newborn babies’ stored cord blood can help autistic children. The study plans to recruit 30 children with stored cord blood to examine whether stem cells from the umbilical cord can be used to treat autism.
